Meat made much better.
How do we make pet food better?
With cultivated meat. We can optimize cultivated meat to have higher levels of nutrients and improve digestibility and nutrient absorption. It’s still high quality animal protein, only better.
Meat is 1st ingredient
Quality digestible animal protein, made from cells
High protein
More protein per serving than leading clean label treats
Rich, umami flavour
A savoury taste cats and dogs love
Freeze dried
Minimally processed to lock in nutrition and flavours
Protein & Prebiotics
-
Cultivated meat is the first ingredient in our launch treats! Bioavailable animal meat, carefully made from cells.
-
Our unique blend of prebiotic fibers have been shown to rehabilitate the microbiome of cats and dogs.
-
The rich flavour and nutrition of meat, designed to be a good source of iron, electrolytes, antioxidants and vitamins and minerals. Our treats provide a natural, digestible source of peptides, nucleotides and glutamate.
Making it better
We’re on a quest to get the perfect mix of the proteins, fats, vitamins, minerals and amino acids to support a long, healthy life for our dogs and cats. We aren’t just making better meat, we are making safer, kinder, climate-friendly meat to benefit both our friends (farmed and wild animals) and our family (our cats and dogs).
-
Cultivating meat instead of farming animals eliminates the need for large-scale farming and industrial fishing, which is a whole lot better for the planet and all of the animals who inhabit it. Less farming means less deforestation and habitat destruction and much lower greenhouse emissions.
-
We can improve the underlying protein cats and dogs eat by optimizing our cultivated meat for our pets’ specific nutritional needs. This means higher levels of nutrients, like taurine and Omega-3s, and improvement in digestibility and nutrient absorption. And, ultimately, a better meat to support our animal family members in living their best, longest lives.
Tradition & Innovation
Our treats draw inspiration from heritage birds of traditional villages, or Kampongs, around Southeast Asia.
These village birds roamed freely and foraged their food around the Kampongs. The meat from a Kampong bird is lean, with higher amounts of protein than poultry coming from a conventional factory farm today. The birds’ diverse diet results in meat that is rich in essential vitamins like iron, zinc, vitamin B12 and selenium. And raising a Kampung bird in this natural setting is part of a sustainable food system.
It’s easy to see why we saw similarities in Kampung birds and our cultivated birds.
♥ A more peaceful life for animals.
♥ More nutritious meat.
♥ Far more sustainable production.
This is how to make a much better meat!
